Abstract

The activity of reading in the classroom is essential and stimulated by the teacher through various types of materials and content, including literary study, linguistics itself, demonstrating how pleasurable and beneficial it can be for real contexts of use of language. language, through the use of playfulness. Thus, the present work aims to demonstrate the role of the teacher in the process of training literature readers at school and the relevant teaching and learning contributions offered through this practice, especially in the initial grades, where critical and cognitive sense are still being developed. of the student. It is worth highlighting the challenges encountered, especially on the part of teachers, which require a lot of effort and commitment from them to promote this educational method, thus inferring the need for their continued training.
