Abstract

This study examines the interplay between early signs of autism and developmental milestones in children, as well as the role of nursing professionals in Primary Healthcare. A systematic literature review was conducted to analyze relevant studies. The objective was to investigate how developmental milestones relate to early signs of autism and how this influences nursing practice in early detection and referral for intervention. Methods included searching academic databases and critically analyzing selected studies. Results highlight the importance of early identification of early signs of autism for effective interventions. Integrating developmental milestones into clinical practice can enhance early detection of these signs. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the relevance of nursing professionals in early autism detection and underscores developmental milestones as a screening tool in Primary Healthcare.
