The article makes a bibliographical survey on the militarization of schools and impressions about the development of their pedagogical practices. Through bibliographical research, we analyzed productions that deal with the topic to understand the points that are being developed in the field of education and the analyzes that address the process of militarization of schools in relation to the increase in violence and equivalent situations in the educational field . To this end, we use productions on the topic that focus on the process of implementing military schools on the national scene, as well as productions that discuss the topic of violence and its implications in the school context. The results obtained revealed advantages and disadvantages and it is concluded that violence in the school space requires the development of an appropriate pedagogical project to correct the problems presented.
