The research investigates the operationalization of pedagogical procedures and technological mediation for the teaching-learning of History. The computerized environment and the supports that use the internet can be seen as an important mechanism for learning the subject of history since they bring different ways of grasping knowledge with audiovisual resources and a better possibility of constructing school work that leads to authorship . From this context, we will analyze relevant aspects of the Brazilian educational process, the reference in the past, public policies and the role of the teacher as a mediator in driving the necessary changes for the type of education that presents itself in the 21st century. The discipline of history starts to be discussed based on its forms of transmission and temporal evolution and analyzes the production of knowledge, verifying how it is possible to awaken in the student a greater interest in studying and thinking about history with the use of new technologies, having as a reference their relationship between past and present. The results provide validation and recommendation of methodological procedures authored with hypermedia for teaching the subject. The inconclusiveness regarding the teaching procedures applied identified a series of necessary modifications, so that the approach can be applied with good performance in the future, which constitutes paths towards a new conception of the teaching of History and other subjects.
