Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss the need for education professionals to deal with issues that concern children in training, considering them not just as children, but, above all, as children who will become future citizens, autonomous and competent enough to intervene in their social environment, transforming it, which requires, above all, the full development of reading and writing. This makes it extremely important to teach reading and writing at an early age, in order to start the process of building up these subjects. As far as the methodology used here is concerned, this article was based on bibliographical research, which focuses on showing and discussing what some respected authors in the field of education think about the subject in question.
