Neuroeducation is an interdisciplinary field of study that seeks to integrate neuroscience knowledge with educational practices, aiming to improve the teaching-learning process. This article discusses the importance of neuroeducation for early childhood education teachers, highlighting the benefits and challenges faced by these professionals. Based on a literature review, strategies and challenges are presented for applying the principles of neuroscience and neuroeducation, aiming to enhance the cognitive, emotional and social development of school-age children. Among the challenges, the lack of professional training on neuroeducation, the persistence of traditional pedagogical practices and institutional and cultural obstacles stand out. Strategies include continuing teacher training, adapting pedagogical practices and overcoming traditional institutional obstacles. It is concluded that the integration of the principles of neuroeducation into pedagogical practice emerges as a complementary tool in order to promote more comprehensive and inclusive teaching, by facing challenges and taking advantage of opportunities for the integral development of children in early childhood education.
