Abstract

Technology has been responsible for major social transformations. From the rise of the Internet to the new resources of artificial intelligence, all current technological advances in society have impacted the intellectual development of human beings, imposing a new perspective known as “digital culture” or cyberculture. From this perspective, all fields of knowledge have been severely influenced by technology, including education. For this reason, the teacher is considered a primordial icon of transformation and diffusion. Thus, the purpose of this article is to identify digital means in which teachers advance in the technological context, using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, as a facilitating resource in the meaningful learning of teaching science to their students, especially in relation to the current scenario of the increase in reported cases and worsening of arboviruses, such as dengue, Oropouche Fever, West Nile Fever, Chikungunya and Zika, among others, caused by the actions of vectors, such as Aedes aegypti. The methodology consisted of carrying out a careful systematic bibliographical review, identifying relevant concepts in the literature that highlight the role of the teacher, with the ultimate objective of challenging traditional teaching practices, using these digital resources, in the classroom or outside it.
