Abstract

This study addressed the problem of how data collection and analysis can be used to personalize teaching at the basic level, aiming to improve academic performance. The general objective was to analyze the application of data-based education to personalize teaching, improving student performance. The methodology adopted consisted of a literature review, analyzing relevant publications to understand the current state of knowledge about data-based education. The results indicated that the analysis of educational data can identify individual learning needs, allowing methodological adjustments that result in more personalized and effective education. However, ethical and technical challenges, such as data privacy and the integration of information from multiple sources, represent significant obstacles. Final considerations highlighted the importance of data-based education for the development of innovative educational practices, highlighting the need to overcome existing challenges to maximize their benefits.
