This study examines the educational response to the pandemic in Brazil. The Ordinance n. 188 of 2020 declared a public health emergency, leading to the suspension of in-person classes. Measures from the Ministry of Education (MEC) and state authorities allowed for emergency remote teaching (ERE), distinct from traditional distance education (EAD), temporarily adapted. ERE strategies encompassed online classes, TV broadcasts, and digital platforms. The pivotal role of educators in transforming information into knowledge, guiding students in online learning, is highlighted. The use of comics and reading proved significant due to shifting habits driven by the internet and WhatsApp. The research focused on repositories of educational resources, mapping them before and during the pandemic, offering essential tools to teachers adapting to the new educational landscape.
