BURNOUT AND TEACHERS IN THE MIDST OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The present work, based on the problematic proposal, has the general objective of analyzing the Burnout Syndrome and its effects on active teachers in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil, which has as symptoms: mental and physical exhaustion, which leads to cardiac dysfunctions, depression and anxiety disorders. The work is divided into details such as: analyzing the teacher's profession and its psychological aspects, as it is observed that teachers are often submitted to a complex of demands, in view of this, they require pedagogical skills, emotional and social skills; discuss the teacher's difficulties in times of a pandemic, that is, a high labor demand, new work tools and insufficient training; point out problems caused by the pandemic to educators, for example conditions such as stress, social withdrawal and anxiety; to report on the characteristics and aspects of the Burnout Syndrome, characterized by being superficial evidence that they are chronic and generated in people in contact with other individuals, being physiologically manifested by constant fatigue, lack of appetite, sleep disorders and muscle pain, and psychically from lack of attention and memory; dialogue about the forms of treatment, with the proposal of psychotherapy, pharmacological measures, psychosocial interventions and removal of the stressor agent and as prevention for the problem: promotion of energy at work, group functions and continuing education. This research is of an applied nature.
