This article highlights the importance of using educational games as a didactic support resource in the teaching-learning process, and aims to apply a previously selected game to be used as a teaching resource in 3rd grade high school classes to work on the fundamental concepts that guide the Special Theory of Relativity. With features that deal with the playfulness, presented in a well-structured way, the teacher will perform a qualitative diagnostic evaluation with the students in order to characterize the relevant prior knowledge to learn this theory, related to the contents of Mechanics, Thermology, Optics, Waves and Electromagnetism. For a subsequent preparation of questions that will be addressed in the adaptation of the game traditionally known as ROLETA. Thus, it is expected that after the application of the game, in 3rd year high school classes, the result will be to awaken students' interest in the Theory of Relativity, as well as contribute to the expansion of the theoretical discussion about the application of educational games during this process.
