Abstract

Financial education and personal finance is becoming increasingly important in people's lives, increasingly essential in people's lives and yet a large part of the population does not have the necessary knowledge to put it into practice or when they do, they do not use it in management personal financial. With this, the objective of this research is to verify the personal financial planning of the students of the Administration course of a Higher Education Institution, in the city of Palmas-TO. Thus, the method of this study is deductive, in relation to the objectives it is descriptive and the approach is qualitative and quantitative. Data collection took place through a questionnaire, with closed questions, elaborated from the criteria presented in the ENEF 2005 report, applied to academics. Based on the data obtained through the questionnaire applied to the academics, it is concluded that it is extremely important to control monthly expenses and personal financial planning, through expense control tools.
