THE CONTRACTORS

Abstract

This article is based on three authors with different theories about the constitution of the State, but which are the foundation of Political Science that has the Civil State as a social construction based on a contract, that is, an unnatural construction. Despite being contractualists, they disagree on several issues throughout the development of their theses, however, we will seek to address these differences, as well as the points of similarity in their theories. In this sense, we have in common the perspective that we can reflect the history of man in two different periods: man in the state of nature and man in civil society as a result of the social contract. Men are by nature free and equal, but at a certain time, due to a set of circumstances and needs, they gave rise to the state, when they were forced to give up that freedom and sign an agreement or a social contract among themselves (COTRIN, 2006) .Although man is free, he is chained everywhere, and nevertheless, he claims to be the owner of other beings, not exempting himself from the fact of belonging to slavery as much as the others (ROUSSEAU, 2012).
