THE SHARING ECONOMY AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE UBERIZATION OF WORK

Abstract

This article sought to discuss the sharing economy and its relationship with the uberization of work, through data and bibliographic research to expose the topic and discuss its impacts on labor relations and digital transformations. The paper elucidated the sharing economy as a phenomenon leveraged by digital platforms, and the incentive for autonomy in work, because there is no employment contract or guarantee of labor rights, thus the text raised legal and legal analysis based on the CLT and other legal devices, as well as discussed the precarization of work and the need to update labor legislation, with the insertion of new devices to keep up with social changes and transformations, such as the growth of the digital world. Thus, the text concluded that there are many negative implications in this new kind of work, which puts the worker at a disadvantage in the face of the obligations imposed by digital platforms, which, despite receiving the smallest part of the amounts, can make their operations even more profitable, exempting themselves from labor obligations.
