THE THEORY OF LABELING AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORK “CAPITÃOS DA AREIA”

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relationship that the work “Capitães da Areia” can have with different fields of knowledge, including those linked to the legal environment such as criminology and criminal law, thus aiming for greater reflection with regard to to the problems that are still faced within society. In this sense, the main objective will be to analyze the characteristics, as well as the development and relevance that the Labeling Theory has in the social environment and its relationship with the work Capitães de Areia by Jorge Amado, in which through bibliographical research it was possible to identify a certain relationship.
