Abstract

This article addresses the conquest of women's suffrage and the advances of women in Brazilian politics and addresses the historical evolution of women's struggles for gender equality, highlighting the suffrage movement and the conquest of the right to vote. In addition, it discusses the progress of women in Brazilian politics, including female representation in elected office and the challenges faced in achieving more equitable political participation. The article may also explore gender equality policies and the importance of diversity in policy decision-making.
