Looking in detail at the digital book Public security and penitentiary law, one can see the congregation of thematic discussions on the large area of penitentiary law from the perspective of social specificities.

In this book, we have a primary issue of reviewing and discussing the conditions of the Brazilian prison structure, as well as the possibility of re-socializing inmates, when they are denied to invest their strength in a new process of situating themselves and establishing themselves as citizens to social life, challenging the limitations that the space of seclusion imposes on him in a world in constant renewal.

Therefore, we invite all readers to exercise dialogues with the studies contemplated here.
