This study focuses on bullying and diversity in schools, which lives in an extremely individualistic society. Capitalism has submerged itself in the transformation of people into objects and values into a secondary concern, and violence is increasingly present in schools. For many, the role of the other has been sidelined, and they will step over anyone to gain an advantage and achieve their goals. Given the countless violent events occurring in schools, repeatedly unleashed against the same victim over time and within an imbalance of power, known as bullying, it is one of the topics that should never go unnoticed by an education professional, as it deals with a highly relevant social phenomenon and has unique, identifiable characteristics. Although it is a little-known phenomenon, for reasons such as the lack of accountability for such acts, they transform into significant disruptions in the physical and psychological lives of students. It is the educator's responsibility to be fully aware and seek strategies to mitigate this situation. Bullying means using power or force to intimidate, attack, humiliate, or give nicknames. It is used to describe acts of physical or psychological violence. This article provides some caveats that may help teachers concerned about people being bullied in the school environment, victims who do nothing, and people who are different, lonely, physically challenged, or gender-unequal. Thus, it contributes to and fosters awareness of gender equality, especially in schools.
