Objective: describe vaccination strategies against COVID-19 for border residentes treated in health services in a municipality on the triple border of Brazil, Colombia and Peru. Method: Single, descriptive, integrated case study with a qualitative approach. This study was carried out in the municipality of Tabatinga, which is a Brazilian, component of the triple border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The evidence came from interviews with health managers in Tabatinga. The data were organized with the aid of MaxQDA22® software and analyzed using an analytical strategy of theoretical propositions and the description of narratives, which enabled the emergence of categories that describe the phenomenon studied. Results: Analysis of the evidence made it possible to describe that the border municipality of Tabatinga adopted strategies that enabled the inclusion of foreigners in the local vaccination process. Conclusion: Access to vaccination and health services in the tri-border area of Brazil, Colombia, and Peru is a reality that faced challenges during its implementation. It required the creation of strategies to ensure population access to vaccines, while emphasizing interpersonal relationships based on the guidelines of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), and recognizing the central role of local health managers and community health workers.
