Abstract

This article presents a state of knowledge on the development of socioemotional competencies in Professional and Technological Education (PTE) in the Brazilian context. The analysis is based on a review of five recent academic papers that explore different aspects of this theme. The text underscores the relevance of a holistic education that considers social values rather than a simplistic and adaptive approach. In conclusion, we can highlight that the analyzed articles provide an overview of current trends and challenges related to the development of socioemotional competencies in PTE in Brazil.
