Abstract

This scientific literature review examines the intricate relationship between stress and mental health, highlighting therapeutic approaches and preventive strategies. The comprehensive analysis reveals the complexity of clinical manifestations and neurobiological mechanisms associated with chronic stress. Integrated therapeutic approaches, including pharmacological interventions and psychotherapy, emerge as effective, underscoring the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. Preventive strategies focus on promoting mental well-being and creating healthy environments. Concluding remarks emphasize the need for personalized approaches in clinical practice, implications for mental health policies, and future research directions.
