Abstract

This article intends to show the difficulties of teaching in everyday school life experienced in the post-pandemic period, in the context of Elementary School I at EMARM/, after two years of remote classes in the municipality of Monte Santo/Ba. There are problems with teaching in the initial years, which show outdated learning levels. The complexity of the topic explains the diversity of factors, subjects and aspects to be considered: student, teacher, resources, strategy, curriculum, among others. The obstacles were visible in daily school life with the return of face-to-face teaching in 2022 in overcrowded classrooms, incoherent data at the school office, lack of pedagogical resources, lack of adequate materials, lack of support from parents and others. Considering diagnoses related to writing and cognitive level, a lack of skills and stimulation in children is observed. According to an autobiographical narrative, supported by a review of literature relevant to the topic, this article highlights the difficulties in the literacy process, experienced by a teacher who, when analyzing the situation of her students, starts from her life story to try to understand the scenario , in the post-pandemic period.
