Abstract

Inequality is fundamental for carrying out an organizational study on LGBTQIA, especially in a society that has been experiencing a process of change that has been taking place at an astonishing pace, with diversity between cities, states and regions, needs that need to be instilled in the organizational context, even because the workforce itself has been changing with the advent of technology. The importance of the proposed theme focuses on the issue that the LGBTQIA+ community faces several difficulties in different areas of society, including the labor market. Unfortunately, many companies and organizations still maintain discriminatory and prejudiced practices, which makes the work environment unsafe and hostile to LGBTQIA+ people. The article will discuss the terms of choosing the theme in order to argue and renew itself with the themes: prejudice, discrimination and moral and psychological violence, often suffered in the work environment. In its specific objectives, it is intended, based on facts to be presented, to conceptualize the LGBTQIA+ group; deal with the challenges of the LGBTQIA+ group to establish and consolidate their rights in the labor market; address the issue of prejudice and discrimination. This is a bibliographical study with consultation to works, articles and publications by the most renowned authors, ensuring the proper theoretical basis for the proposed theme.
