Abstract

The objective of this article is to report an internship experience in Psychology and Inclusion carried out in an Educational Center located in the city of Curitiba, Paraná. For this purpose, visits were carried out in that space in order to observe the routine of the place and thus carry out an institutional diagnosis. Several countries such as Canada, Italy and the United States have implemented so-called inclusive schools whose policy is the inclusion of students with disabilities in so-called common education, regardless of their particular differences, being highlighted at the World Conference on Education for All, resulting in the Salamanca Declaration in 1994 , held in Spain in Salamanca. Most of the time, the management of this reality is ignored, which brings insecurity and uncertainty about the best way to deal with this fact, which is unknown to most professionals and ordinary people. In this way, the inclusion of a school psychologist in the school community would help to better address school issues, facilitating the understanding of problems and possible solutions.
