This text aims to raise reflections on children's literature, in particular, referring to those that present narratives that aim to demonstrate the protagonism of black childhood. For this, together with the bibliographic support, at first, observations are raised about the literary production on black childhood. Then, with the aim of analyzing the contributions of children's literature that deals with how black characters are constituted, an analysis of the work Amoras, written by Emicida and published in 2018, will be carried out.
