Noncommunicable Chronic Diseases (NCDs) are characterized as multifactorial and cause damage to various systems of the human body. It is worth noting that there are several risk factors for CNCDs that culminate in their appearance throughout life, such as gender, alcoholism, smoking, genetics, race, age, organic diet, sedentary lifestyle and dyslipidemia. Thus, as the literature shows that the various types of NCDs are generally associated with the individual's lifestyle. In addition to hypertension and diabetes, the group of NCDs also includes obstructive respiratory diseases and neoplasms, cerebrovascular diseases, dyslipidemias and cardiovascular diseases. In Brazil, it is estimated that arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus triggered about 72% of deaths. Therefore, the present work aimed to carry out health promotion through health education aimed at users of the Basic Health Unit in the Planalto neighborhood, in Redenção - PA. In view of this, it should be noted that health education practices affect users' adherence to treatment, allowing the transmission of information about pathologies and the rational use of medication, in addition to this, observing the contribution to the academic training of medical students , which I was able to elucidate knowledge in daily practice. Thus, the importance of carrying out health education activities for the population is evident, and that in the act of caring for hypertensive and diabetic patients we should not focus our actions only on the aforementioned pathologies, but also prioritize the promotion, maintenance and recovery of health.
