This study aims to analyze the application of mediation/ conciliation in divorce disputes with minor children and how the proper treatment of conflicts impacts family life in the long term and reduces the need for legal disputes. For a better understanding of the theme, we will make a bibliographic historical analysis and use the descriptive method after the collection of data from the consensual divorce hearings held at CEJUSC - Advanced Pole Manaus/AM between 2014 and 2020 to raise hypotheses about the effectiveness of the mediation/conciliation procedure in the transformation of family conflicts.
