Abstract

Since 2017, the Department of Education of the State of São Paulo has been converting part-time schools into full-time schools, with a large migration concentrated in the year 2022. Therefore, it is important to demonstrate the data behind this migration, which affects not only the pedagogical area but also infrastructure, technology, and service providers, as students spend more time in school requiring more food, specialized research and entertainment rooms, and greater dedication and training from education professionals involved. Thus, data analysis is of great importance in this area in order to demonstrate the challenges that such transformation may bring for the coming years in the education system of the state of São Paulo.
