THE ROLE OF PSYCHOMOTRICITY IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM 2 TO 5 YEARS OLD

Since psychomotricity is the study of the human body in movement, it is considered a science, as it is through it that an analysis of the connection with the emotional, cognitive and motor aspects related to the action of moving is carried out. In Early Childhood Education, psychomotricity is considered as the beginning of the learning process. The general objective of the study is to carry out an analysis about the role of psychomotricity in the development of children from 2 to 5 years old. A bibliographic review was elaborated, in which the research was carried out through searches in the Scielo databases, academic google and in repositories of Brazilian universities. It is of great importance to stimulate psychomotor work, motor development among other works as affective in children so that in the future these children will not present difficulties and problems in their adult phase. Therefore, psychomotricity has the vision of improving the aspect of physical communication, which is equivalent to giving a person the opportunity to control his body, making his balance perfect.
