Abstract

This article aims to understand the development of Afro-entrepreneurship as a strategy to face the economic and social vulnerability of the black population, which is the social segment most affected by changes in the labor market. The research aims to analyze the socioeconomic and cultural profile of the group, their motivations to undertake and the meaning attributed to this type of insertion and how these processes impact the educational development for this population. In relation to the methodological course, we started with the bibliographic-exploratory research format, in order to know the concepts and list categories of analysis of the theoretical basis that helped the reflection of the proposed object. So that we understand the importance of the articulation between Afro-entrepreneurship and education, taking into account the historical issues and the social position of the black population in Brazilian society.
