This article discusses themes about the performance of the pedagogue in the business environment, the conflicts present in the day-to-day business and forms of management adopted in different conflict situations. The role of the pedagogue in the company occurs mainly in the area of training and development, but the purpose of this article is to present another form of action of this professional in relation to a very important topic in the business environment, which is conflict management. The relevance of this topic is due to the negative and positive consequences that a conflict can generate depending on how it is managed. If, on the one hand, inappropriate management can cause disastrous consequences and unnecessary damage to companies and to the individuals who work there, on the other hand, with the knowledge and use of appropriate techniques for each situation, such as mediation, it can contribute for the well-being of employees, so they can perform their duties more effectively in a harmonious work environment.
