Abstract

This article makes a brief presentation of the mais educação program as a public policy for the social inclusion of young people and adolescents, considering the relevant aspects in the permanence of children in the school shift as a full-time school offer. the importance of the project in improving the quality of education is analyzed, as well as in the inclusion of these students in activities included in the program as a way of minimizing the low educational levels of schools, especially those in places of social vulnerability. the methodology of the work was a bibliographic review, as theoretical references were sought in different authors who deal with the subject under study.
