To present the legal path of the documents that rule the Special Education in Brazil, as well as to define what curricular adaptations are and suggest a didactic-pedagogical methodology referring to morphosyntactic contents of the Portuguese Language (LP), compared to the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), which can be applied to deaf high school students, are the main gosls of this article, which is based on the educational plan of Bilingual Teaching, anchored to the theoretical perspective of Applied Linguistics (AL).
