Abstract

This article sought to know what the especialized literature in the health area brings abouth the vacccine against HPV in the prevention of cervical cancer. The objective of the study was an integrate literature review, carried out from June to September 2022, throught a search un the VHL database. Of the 24 selected articles, there was a higher incidente in 2019 with 5 articles published, 20 studies were published in Brasil, considering the importance of the vaccine in the prevention of cervical cancer, and 4 internacional publications whose theme is health education and vaccine coverage. The importance of vaccination against HPV and educational health action as preventive measures to reduce cases of cervical cancer is noted.
