This article aims to report on an internship experience in clinical care with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This internship is a requirement for training in the Psychology course. Psychotherapy sessions took place weekly, lasting 50 minutes each, divided into an evaluation session and the first therapy session and other sessions, for eight weeks. The specific Clinical internship surpasses any theoretical learning although it is essential, indispensable and the basis of knowledge for the achievement of probable expected results through the information collected in practice. Working with tools to raise possible diagnoses will always be a challenge in the experience as a psychologist, given the complexity of the human being, which at no time is a label or another, in addition to the person being assisted due to their age going through a neurocognitive evolution.
