Adolescence is a stage in life marked by the transition from childhood to adulthood. Much is known about the changes that the adolescent faces characterized by the changes: physical, biological, social and psychological. It is in the midst of this scenario, that the teenager is faced with another challenge: the professional choice. At this time, so confused and great internal and external concerns, that the young should choose and decide their future. It is up to him to make decisions about which Vestibulares should make and, also, the choice of a profession. In this context, the family, primary social group, participates in the choice and often influences the conscious and unconscious. Seen this, the theme was chosen from personal motives, personal, since it was possible to observe the insecurity of adolescents when entering high school. We emphasize the importance of professional choice for adolescents, but it is important to investigate how it happens. For this reason, the article aims to identify the pressures suffered by adolescents during professional choice and understand the psychological aspects involved in this process.
