Abstract

The present work aims to make an analysis of the adoption institute in the Brazilian legal system, analyzing the possibility of intention personae adoption, not yet regulated in our legal system. Therefore, we sought to analyze Law nº 8.069/90, Statute of Children and Adolescents, which aims to protect children and adolescents, analyzing the adoption procedure. In order to carry out the present study, extensive doctrinal research was carried out, through the available collection, legislative research and jurisprudence. Finally, we sought to demonstrate how intuitu personae adoption can be beneficial to children and adolescents and ensure their protection and better development.
