Abstract

They are the professionals that brought eternity to our lives. With their cameras and unhealthy chemicals and a good knowledge of how to use the light, they have registered our unique facial features to the centuries to come. Nevertheless, now, with the uprising of digital photography in the smartphones and the fever of the selfie, it seems that their function is a little bit forgotten. Is that true? The answer to this question is what have provoked us in the discussion we make in this paper.
