Nowadays, the use of digital technologies in the school environment has become essential. Thus, schools must have the necessary resources for these technologies to promote student learning, therefore, teachers must be well prepared for their proper use in school routines. The purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of incorporating digital technology as a teaching-learning tool in early childhood education and the need to better prepare teachers to use these technologies in a way that relates to school realities. It is noteworthy that given the current technological reality, it is essential that education accompany the development of society. Schools and teachers must be technologically updated whenever possible to accommodate the new generation of students who are encouraged to use these technologies earlier every day. It was possible to ensure that basic digital technology products are already available in most schools, thus ensuring that all children entering the school environment benefit from the use of these new technologies.
