Abstract

This course conclusion work aims to present a careful analysis of the reflexes of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Brazilian legal system and in Family Law, more precisely in the significant increase in demands related to divorce during the pandemic period. In this way, seeking through the understanding of doctrinal positions, as well as data analysis and secure information about the remarkable increase in the procedural volume of lawsuits regarding the dissolution of marriage, to draw a parallel capable of demonstrating the current reality of the Judiciary, after the changes imposed. by the pandemic scenario. Causing an important need for dejudicialization of divorce, in the search for less bureaucratic and time-consuming means than usual. Since the State needs to guarantee its individuals quick ways to meet their demands. Therefore, the present work will seek to highlight the particularities that surround divorce and its reflection in the judiciary in the period of COVID-19, as well as demonstrate the evolution of the institute in recent years within family law.
