TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN THE FORMAL LABOR MARKET

This study aims to verify whether formal organizations are prepared to include people with disabilities in their workforce, applying adequate training and development. As well as analyzing how assistive technology can offer good conditions for people with disabilities to work better, generating greater performance and productivity. This research is exploratory-descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach. Data were collected in August 2022, with questionnaires aimed at employees with disabilities and managers in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, through Google Forms, in which it was shared through a link transmitted to WhatsApp contacts and via email. It is concluded that despite the implementation of laws and rights that ensure basic rights for people with disabilities, there is still a need for awareness and humanization that allow an effective insertion in society, including in the school and professional área.
