This article provides an overview of Henri Wallon's psychogenetic research, placing his life in its original historical and social context to understand the influences on his studies. This reflects his theory, which emphasizes affectivity as the central axis of child development and its relationship with cognitive, motor and interaction development. It emphasizes emotions, taking into account Wallon's dialectical and humanist view of the person as a whole for educational practices. This is how they try to provide teacher training for early childhood education, where they emphasize affective power, seeking to provide training where the educator must know how the child's development takes place in this context, so that he or she can participate as a mediator . and as a facilitator of this process, analyzing the importance of emotions in children's learning, their general development and teacher-student relationships.
