THE PLAYFULNESS IN THE MATHEMATICS TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS

The present article with the theme "Playfulness in the teaching and learning process of mathematics" aims to discuss the importance and presence of playfulness in the life of the subject and in its formation, and also, to understand how it collaborates in a significant way in the social, psychomotor, emotional development, among others, and in the teaching and learning process within the school environment. In order for the research in question to significantly address this theme, the following topics were chosen: "The history of play", "The playful in the teaching of mathematics" and "The playfulness and its contributions in the teaching and learning process of mathematics. The discussions take place by the most diverse theorists who collaborate in a deep and contributory way with regard to the presence and importance of playfulness in the formation of the citizen, in this way the construction of the study is of a bibliographic nature. the use of recreational activities contributes satisfactorily to the learning of mathematics. It is also worth mentioning that recreational games are technical resources and/or tools that facilitate learning in a relaxed way, exploring the student in an active and participatory way in the teaching process and learning.
