Abstract

The new coronavirus pandemic reflects the importance of understanding the challenges of remote learning and how to keep students interested in the classroom. Therefore, this article presented an investigative proposal aimed at teaching 9th grade Science. They are simple activities, easy to carry out and understand, with easily accessible materials, completing the entire investigative cycle, where students can perform at home with the help of the Science teacher and guardians. The study favors the understanding of the states of matter from an investigative perspective, in addition to stimulating the ability to relate the theoretical content of chemistry to everyday reality. Investigative activities stimulate students' curiosity, making them interested in studying chemistry, even without continuous access to school and the use of technologies. When the student is the protagonist in the learning process, he is able to build knowledge, possibilities, conclusion and results.
