Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major determinant of mortality, disability, and morbidity associated with persistent trauma. What affects these people the most is their impaired functional capacity, as they may present a series of problems, such as not being able to walk anymore, having to use wheelchairs and stay in bed for the rest of their lives. This article was developed through a literature review. Significant functional benefits were observed in the interaction of the activities proposed during physiotherapy, based on the techniques exposed, a significant improvement in the patient's condition was demonstrated, demonstrating and proving the effectiveness of physiotherapy intervention in patients with TBI.
