Abstract

Considering that endometriosis is a chronic pathology that causes intense pain and affects several areas of women's lives, such as their fertility, this study aimed to investigate the mental health of those who live with the disease and have the desire to become pregnant. A survey was carried out using a questionnaire on Google Forms. Through the results obtained, it was possible to perceive the psychological impact generated by living with pain, which can bring losses to the patient's daily life and, consequently, affect her work and social relations. It also highlights the anguish triggered by the possibility of infertility and the possible consequences.
