The following paper aims to discuss the role of the school manager and how he/she can promote improvements in the teaching and learning process, seeking to understand, at first, the importance of diversity in Brazilian schools and the reason why it should be preserved, using common sense questions, and answering them throughout the article, in addition to explaining the importance of the teaching place as a place of inclusion and respect, necessary for education. After this initial clarification, we can discuss the role of a school manager and what he or she can do to perpetuate diversity, also trying to mediate the relationship between student and teacher in today's technological context. Finally, alternatives are sought and some options and solutions are shown that can help improve the teaching and learning process through new technologies, with such changes being promoted not only by the manager, but by the entire school community, such as teachers, coordination, board, and administration.
