Abstract

This article is the result of a documentary and bibliographical research in which we sought to know and analyze the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC, in order to identify curricular educational proposals for the full development of the subject throughout Basic Education. To this end, the rights to basic education listed in Brazilian legislation were mapped. Among the documents, several legal provisions were used, as examples: the Federal Constitution and the National Education Plan. Publications from scientific journals and the Nova Escola website were also used, which involved the discussion of the analyzed theme. It is concluded, therefore, how much the pedagogical actions aligned with the Core Competencies favor the development of the subject with regard to the full exercise of their citizenship.
