This article is based on answering the followiong questions: What is the importance o operacional activities in early childhood educations? Developed from the experience of pedagogical practice in early childhood education, we seek to emphasize the integration of theory and practice. Based on the historical-cultural perspective, we focus on explaining child development from Vygotsky’s point of view, highlighting key developmental points, in addition to showing the teacher’s role in this theoretical current.
