This article is an approach to the theme “Childhood Social Skills” and aims to present a brief discussion on the subject focusing on the benefits of “Childhood Social Skills Training” for changing behaviors that are not suitable for social spaces. , specifically the school. The objective was to discuss the importance of providing repertoires of behavioral responses so that children can live better in society. The paper presents a brief history and relevance of research on social skills training from the perspective of Caballo (1996, 2002, 2012), Del Prette and Del Prette (1999, 2005, 2014).
